Network Services

CIU20 always takes a leadership role in regards to technology and network services. Over the past few years we have built a Wide Area network which connects most of the school districts and vocational technical schools in Monroe, Northampton, and Pike county. The WAN allows us to provide a variety of services over a secure private connection. Some of the services we provide over the wan are United Streaming, cpeTracker, and Medical Billing.

IU 20 is also a node on the Pennsylvania Intermediate Unit Network. PAIUnet connects all the school districts and vo-techs in the entire state. This connection will provide endless possibilities for districts all over the state to share resources and reduce technology cost.

The network administrators from all of our districts and vo-techs meet at IU20 once a month to discuss current happenings in regards to technology systems. The sessions allow each of the entities to get feedback from one another which in turn helps all of us ensure that the technical systems are always being used in the most efficient / productive manner.
