Telecommunications

The CIU20 Technology department provides telecommunications support for our office and district staff. Internally telecommunications services provided include Avaya phone system and voicemail installation and maintenance for the CIU20 office and Colonial Academy building. IU 20 district sites also receive telecommunications support including telephone line set up, support, and phone hardware support at their classroom sites.

The CIU 20 Technology department also prepares and submits all of the necessary forms throughout the year that are required by E-rate for Telecommunications services. E-rate is filed by educational entities and libraries to receive reimbursement for a large portion of the bills associated with telecommunications services. E-rate is filed every year for local and long distance telephone service, internet access services, and wireless telephone services.
