Educational Technology


    The Educational Technology department provides services to member school districts, career technology centers, and non-Public schools for technology integration and technology relatd professional development. Services provided include the following programs:
    •     Technology Coach Networking Meetings 
    •     Instructional Media Services
    •     Discovery Education 
    •     Blended Learning Trainer and Facilitator
    •     Regional Computer Fairs (Middle Grades and High School)
    •     Eduplanet21
    •     Google Apps for Education
    •     iPad integration in the K-12 Classroom
    Professional development for technology integration is offered in a  face-to-face, online and on-demand sessions related to technology tools and their integration  into classroom instruction. Topics include:
    •     Google Site development and use
    •     Podcasting for the classroom
    •     Blogs in the classroom
    •     Google Apps for Education
    •     Online course development
    •     iPad Integration
    •     Chromebooks
    •     Web 2.0 Tools
    •     Nearpod 
    •     Schoology
    •     Blended Learning 
    Educational technology support is also provided for the staff that serves students in classrooms operated by the Intermediate Unit.
