Document Camera Document cameras can be used in the classroom to show live video of whatever is placed under the lens. It projects objects or materials for the whole class to see. Some uses of a document camera in education are to take notes, review student�s papers, dissection purposes, manipulatives and iPod/iPad demonstration 2
LCD Projector LCD projectors provide a way for students to see everything that is on the teacher�s screen. A teacher can project their PowerPoints, class notes, and videos, from sites like United Streaming and Safari. They can also be used for students to show their multimedia projects to the class 2
Flip Camera Students can easily record video and upload their work to their computer. Using the appropriate software installed on the computers, students will be able to edit and personalize their videos to create multimedia projects, including public service announcement, digital stories and retell historical events. Green Screen Package The green screen package contains a green screen with stand and two lights to eliminate shadows. Using the Green screen is an engaging way for students to creatively retell or create their own stories. Potential curriculum ideas for digital storytelling include persuasive writing, problem solving, retelling of historical events, authentic writing, and creating a public service announcement. 4

LE Smart Smart Responses are specifically designed to interact with the Smart Board. LE Smart Reponses are learner response systems designed with early education and special needs students in mind. Activ Expressions ActivExpressions are specifically designed to interact with the Promethean Board. They are learner response systems that allow students to respond to teacher�s questions with full sentences, numbers, symbols, text, equations, true/false and Likert scales. These devices can be used as informal assessments to help guide teachers how to adapt their lessons and provide a voice for students that may be intimidated to speak up in class. 1
CPS CPS are learner response systems that work with any computer that has the software installed. These devices provide the teacher with informal and formal assessment to help guide their instruction to meet the needs of their students. Students are able to answer multiple choice, yes/no and true/false questions. 1
K-Nex Stem Design Challenge Set This set includes all the K'NEX Rods & Connectors you will need to participate in the Pennsylvania STEM Design Challenge. Does Your Class Have What It Takes?
