  • CIU20 has a wide variety of technology resources in the Instructional Material Services Lending Library. These technology resources are available for our districts to borrow to support teaching and learning in their classrooms. These technology resources can be integrated to enhance professional development as well as classroom instruction. Please browse through the available resources for your specific educational needs.
     
    Professional development on how to utilize and integrate these resources into the curriculum and/or classroom is also available. If you are interested in learning how to use these resources, and would like to request professional development, please indicate you would like professional development on the borrowed item when completing the form.

Garmin Etrex GPS Case 8 The waterproof Garmin eTrex H is an ideal starting point into the handheld GPS arena. Document Camera Document cameras can be used in the classroom to show live video of instructional materials. It projects objects or materials for the whole class to see. Some uses of a document camera in education are to take notes, review student papers, dissection purposes, manipulatives and iPod/iPad demonstration. 2
LCD Projector LCD projectors provide a way for students to see everything that is on the teacher screen. A teacher can project their PowerPoints, class notes, and videos, from sites like United Streaming and Safari. They can also be used for students to show their multimedia projects to the class 2
Flip Camera Students can easily record video and upload their work to their computer. Using the appropriate software installed on the computers, students will be able to edit and personalize their videos to create multimedia projects, including public service announcement, digital stories and retell historical events. Green Screen Kit The green screen package contains a green screen with stand and two lights to eliminate shadows. Using the Green screen is an engaging way for students to creatively retell or create their own stories.
