Partial Hospitalization

The Partial Hospitalization Program is a school-based treatment program designed for children and adolescents in need of mental health treatment but whose needs cannot be met in a traditional classroom. The treatment program offers both therapeutic and educational services to clients in the classroom setting. Each program is staffed by a team of three or four individuals which includes a Mental Health Treatment Specialist, a Mental Health Worker, a Special Education Teacher, and, dependent upon need or population, an Associate Teacher. Each client is under the care of the psychiatrist in the program. This team works collaboratively with the client, the family, the school district, and all agencies involved with the client.
