Description

Engineering by Design (EbD) promotes STEM for all students through its affordable and flexible PK-12 curriculum option. In conjunction with the International Technology and Engineering Educator’s Association (ITEEA), Engineering by Design (EbD) is the only standards-based model nationwide that delivers technology literacy in a STEM context. EbD is designed to be integrated into all four content areas as well as English-Language Arts through the use of collaboration, creativity, and problem-solving skills.

Participants in this workshop will gain free access to the International Technology and Engineering Education Association (ITEEA) website for PK-12 resources.   

Learner Outcomes

  • Examine the Engineering by Design (EbD) program by investigating its format, curriculum connections, and grade-level offerings.
  • Explore PK-12 STEM resources and lessons provided by the International Technology & Engineering Edcuation Association (ITEEA).
  • Engage in an engineering challenge as an adult learner to experience the technology literacy provided by EbD’s curriculum.
