A Self-Organized Learning Environment or SOLE is an integrated, interdisciplinary approach to student-centered learning that provides a platform for student collaboration, problem-solving, and discovery using just electronic devices and an internet connection.  With SOLE, students foster their critical thinking, curiosity, creativity, and communication skills as they navigate around a question of inquiry.  SOLE lessons can be adopted for either face-to-face or remote settings in most subject areas.

  • Engage in a SOLE session as an adult learner .

  • Identify the role of the teacher throughout the SOLE learning process.
