Several Colonial IU 20 staff recently had the opportunity to share their expertise at the national Project SEARCH conference in Austin, Texas, highlighting the innovative work being done to support student success.
Mason Messinger, CIU 20 Instructor at Wind Creek Bethlehem, and Salvatore Lapadula, CIU 20 Instructor at Kalahari Resort Poconos, presented to a packed audience on “Enhancing Project SEARCH Success Through Department Satisfaction Survey and Targeted Intern Training.” Their session offered practical strategies for improving intern experiences and department engagement, showcasing CIU 20’s commitment to evidence-based practices.
Dawn Daignault from HRC, Inc., a valued partner agency, and Jenn Jones-Baur, CIU 20 Coordinator of Transition Programs / Services led a speed training session focused on successful collaboration. Participants gained hands-on insights into fostering strong partnerships and effective teamwork, reinforcing the collaborative foundation that makes Project SEARCH a success.
