On September 18th, Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 hosted a workshop designed to strengthen relationships and improve communication between local IBHS (Intensive Behavioral Health Services) providers and CIU 20 administrators. The goal of the event was to foster collaboration and create a more seamless support system for students in classrooms throughout the school year.
Attendees connected directly with CIU 20 program representatives and participated in a training called “Teaming in the Classroom: Collaborating Around Behavioral Supports.” The session gave providers and CIU 20 staff the chance to problem-solve together around student needs. Participants also reviewed CIU 20 policies regarding outside visitors and had the opportunity to ask questions and build stronger communication pathways with educational teams.
