As part of our ongoing mission to build strong relationships, respond to community needs, and achieve meaningful results for the students and families we serve, Colonial IU 20 launched a special Call for Kindness this holiday season. Recognizing the financial strain many families are facing, CIU 20 invited staff to support local households experiencing food insecurity.
Thanks to the generosity of our staff, the effort had an extraordinary impact, with more than 240 meals provided to families throughout our region. Through the food drive, employees donated Meal in a Bag kits containing simple, shelf-stable ingredients and a recipe card to help families prepare a warm, easy meal together. This initiative highlights the commitment and compassion of our CIU 20 community, making a real difference for the families we serve.
