Competition Grade Bans for In-Person Event are Limited to: 

Grades 3-5

Grades 6-8

Competition Grade Bans For Virtual Competition: 

Grades K-2

 Grades 9-12 

 

 

Invention Convention is an event for students in Grades K-12 for students to showcase their creativity and problem solving skills! The competition provides an opportunity for students to showcase their invention designed to solve a problem. 

 

Join us for the first Colonial Intermediate Unit 20 Invention Convention. Invention Convention  is national competition. Student winners from their local region advance to the state competition which will take place at the Pennsylvania Educational Technology Expo & Conference.

 

Competition Details:

We are pleased to offer our first Regional Invention Convention at Colonial Intermediate Unit 20. The event is open to all students in K-12. For our first year, Students in Grades 3-8 are welcome to register to attend the in-person event.

 

Competition Capacity: 

Each district may send up to TWO TEAMS per GRADE Ban.
